Introducing our latest collaboration with a gastronomic icon – Anne-Sophie Pic, the world’s most decorated female chef, who holds 12 Michelin stars in her restaurants across the globe.

MURI x Uzume is a fabulous new collaboration with legendary French chef Anne-Sophie Pic. Anne-Sophie is the world’s most decorated female chef, holding 12 Michelin stars in her restaurants across the globe. Together with her Chief Executive Sommelier, Paz Levinson, we have created a blend of modern elegance and inspired imagination. After 3 years of development, during which we visited the primary restaurant Maison Pic numerous times to fine tune the flavours, we are so proud to finally release this special bottle.

A dry sparkling rosé, Uzume is fundamentally inspired by the joyously nostalgic combination of strawberries and cream. This blend uses threes style of strawberry fermentation – carbonic maceration, lacto-fermentation, and yeast which enhances the vibrant fruitiness of the blend. It is given its luxurious creaminess from a yoghurt whey. For further complexity we layer in ice-clarified tomato wine and vanilla we have smoked over beechwood.

These playful flavours in MURI x Uzume are afforded more gastronomic depth by the addition of an ice-clarified tomato wine that imbues the blend with a complex savouriness. Further intrigue arrives in the form of vanilla that we have smoked gently over beechwood in our smokery.

Food Pairing: Red meat dish, lobster with red berries, cheeses, or desserts with delicately tangy red fruit notes. Salads and lightly grilled vegetables, perfect blend as an aperitif.
